Where is your shop?
Angel Fire Ski & Ride is at 40 N Angel Fire Rd, on the road to Angel Fire Resort.
See our rates. Phone, map, and hours are on our contact page.
Do I need a reservation?
No, but it's the fastest way to the lifts — especially on weekends and holidays. Reserve at least 24 hours ahead and your gear is sized, tuned, and staged before you arrive. Give your name, try your boots, and go ski. No deposit. Just a card on file, and you pay at pickup, the same rate online or in the shop.
What comes with a rental package?
Ski packages include skis, bindings, boots, and poles (poles are optional on Child). Snowboard packages include a board, bindings, and boots. Helmets are extra — add one for $15/day when you reserve. Forgot gloves or goggles? We carry them in the shop — see shopping.
Where do I pick up gear I reserved online?
At the counter of our shop at 40 N Angel Fire Rd. Give your name, try your boots, and go ski.
Where do I park at Angel Fire?
Our shop has its own lot for rental customers — park there while you pick up or return your gear. It isn't for all-day parking. For the day, use the shuttle lot just behind our shop and ride the shuttle to the mountain. Drive times and directions are on our Getting Here page.
When do I pick up and return my gear?
Pick up after 2 PM the day before your rental starts — no extra charge. Return by 10 AM the day after your rental ends, to the shop you rented from.
Do you offer overnight storage?
Yes — overnight storage is free with every rental. Leave your skis or board with us at the end of the day and they'll be racked and ready the next morning. No hauling gear back to your condo or out to the car.
Do you offer tuning services?
Yes — we tune skis and snowboards. Every rental leaves our shop freshly tuned on our professional-grade tuning machines, with sharp edges, a smooth base, and fresh wax. Bring your own skis or board and we'll give them the same treatment: drop them at the counter for a hot wax, edge work, a full tune, base repair, or a binding adjustment. Full menu and prices are on our services page.
What are your shop hours?
Angel Fire Ski & Ride is open in season, December 11, 2026 through March 21, 2027:
- Sun–Thu 7:30 AM – 6 PM
- Fri–Sat 7:30 AM – 7 PM
Season dates are projected and depend on snow, and holiday hours may vary.
Do you offer group rates?
Yes, for groups of 10 or more. Call or text us and we'll put together a rate for your group.
Do you offer boot fitting?
We don't offer custom boot fitting. Your rental boots are sized before you arrive, and if the first pair isn't right, we'll swap until it is. Every binding is set to your boot sole length and skier type with a DIN check.
Do you offer ski or snowboard delivery?
Not yet. Delivery and mobile ski or snowboard rental aren't offered today. We're planning to bring gear to wherever you're staying in a future season. Join the list and we'll let you know first.
What if my plans change?
No deposit to reserve online. Cancel with 48 hours' notice before pickup — call or text us.
Can I bring my own boots?
Yes. Bring your own boots and we'll take $3 a day off your package price.
What does equipment insurance cover?
Equipment insurance is $5/day and covers damage to your rental gear for as long as you have it. It doesn't cover loss or theft. Add it at the counter when you pick up.
